GW Nursing, in collaboration with My Dr.’s Pharmacy, will host two high-capacity COVID-19 vaccine clinics at the Virginia Science and Technology Campus on May 15 and June 5. The clinics will be administering the Pfizer vaccine and are open to all GW students, faculty and staff, their families and the general public. Children ages 12-15 are now eligible for the Pfizer vaccine. Appointments are required. Make an appointment online.
This clinic is administering Pfizer vaccines only, which are federally allocated vaccines. Therefore, you do not have to be a Virginia resident to receive the vaccine. The first dose of the vaccine will be administered on May 15, and the second dose will be scheduled for June 5.
GW will require students, faculty, and staff who are in person this fall to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to being on campus. These vaccination events will provide the GW community with an opportunity to get vaccinated on campus.
Saturday, May, 15 and Saturday, June 5
10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
GW VSTC Enterprise Hall
44983 Knoll Square
Ashburn, VA 20147
The COVID-19 vaccine is free of charge. In order to process your registration onsite, please bring a government-issued ID and your health insurance information. If you do not have health insurance, you can still receive your COVID-19 vaccine free of charge.
GW Nursing has been working with My Dr.'s Pharmacy through a community collaboration since early March. GW Nursing students in their final semester have completed their community clinical experience at the My Dr.'s Pharmacy COVID-19 vaccine clinic in Herndon, Va. This collaboration has led to the upcoming COVID-19 vaccine events that will be hosted at VSTC where the School of Nursing undergraduate program is based.
