GW Information Line for COVID-19-Related Questions

As President LeBlanc announced on March 16, 2020, GW remains open and operational, and  staff and faculty who are able to telework should continue to do so through April 5, 2020. At GW, we are fortunate enough to have a community that continues to collaborate across functions, regardless of the physical work environment, in order to keep our university operational. To enable that collaboration, we are committed to providing the information you need to remain safe and informed. In addition to our virtual town halls and our frequently updated GW COVID-19 website, we have also implemented a live-answer GW Information Line for COVID-19-related questions for faculty and staff.

This Information Line will be staffed by Human Resource Management and Development (HRMD), and can be reached at 1-855-GWU-INFO (855-498-4636) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Please be aware that specialists on this Information Line will not be able to answer medical questions or provide counseling, but will instead provide support and information regarding employment-related issues faculty and staff may face during this rapidly evolving situation. Specialists will also help connect community members with the appropriate offices or resources if they are unable to answer your specific question. While our website and Information Line are critical parts of our response, enhancing our medical and wellbeing benefits is fundamental to how we can support you. We have received inquiries about suspending Parking Payroll deductions during this interim period. Employees may sign up for or suspend their parking payroll deductions at any time. To ensure your parking deduction is cancelled on your next paycheck, submit your suspension request form by 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2020. We are also suspending monthly deductions for the Lerner Health & Wellness Center during this interim period.
