The university does not have traditional dining halls on its Foggy Bottom campus and instead provides food through various retail vendors located on campus. GW has worked with its dining vendors to ensure adequate social distancing, sanitation and cleaning. GW is committed to ensuring on-campus students have access to meals and groceries through the GW Dining plan. GW students can use dining cash from a GWorld card at over 105 vendors including grocery stores, fast-casual and sit-down restaurants, food trucks, pop-ups and more.
In addition, GW Dining has partnered with GrubHub so that students can easily access food delivery options using their GWorld card, ensuring dining spaces are safer, building out resources for food preparation on the GW dining website, and sharing up-to-date information about all dining partners operating status. Vending machines are also operational.

Preparing for Potential Isolation or Quarantine
We recommend students arriving to campus stock and maintain a ready supply of food for quarantine or potential isolation periods. GW Dining has partnered with GrubHub and Whole Foods to provide a wide variety of meal options and grocery delivery directly to the residence halls for students in quarantine.
Should students test positive for COVID-19 and require self-isolation, the Student Support and CARE Team will work directly with students to provide resources and services during their isolation period, including facilitation of grocery and other food delivery.
