COVID-19 Testing Available for GW Community

January 13, 2023

As we prepare to begin the Spring semester, we strongly encourage all GW community members to take advantage of GW’s free COVID-19 testing, especially if you are returning from travel.

To make an appointment, visit the medical portal. Instructions on how to schedule a test are available online.

If you tested positive for COVID-19 while you were away from campus, please upload your positive test results to the medical portal. Do not return to campus until you are out of isolation.

Please remember that masks continue to be mandatory in indoor instructional settings, such as classrooms and teaching laboratories, as well the Student Health Center and GW transportation services such as the Mount Vernon Express, VSTC Express and SafeRide.

Masks are optional but remain strongly recommended in all other university-owned or -operated facilities and contexts, especially when in crowded indoor spaces for extended periods of time.  N95 masks are still available for free to community members at GW’s test sites.
