Bivalent COVID-19 Booster and Flu Vaccination Clinics

October 10, 2022

GW will offer the bivalent COVID-19 booster and additional flu vaccination clinics to students, faculty and staff at the Foggy Bottom Campus. Appointments are not required for either clinic. Please remember to wear a mask at the clinics.

Bivalent COVID-19 Booster Vaccination Clinics

University Student Center
801 21st St., NW
Study Spaces in the B1 Level

October 14: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
October 21: 6 a.m. – 2 p.m.
October 28: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
November 4: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Free bivalent COVID-19 booster vaccination clinics will be held on Fridays from Oct. 14 – Nov. 4. Please note that approximately 400 vaccines will be available at each clinic. Be sure to bring your GWorld and COVID-19 vaccination cards.

Though GW is not requiring the bivalent booster dose for its students, faculty and staff, the university strongly encourages all to get it at the appropriate time. The bivalent COVID-19 booster vaccines include a component of the original SARS-CoV-2 virus strain plus a component of the Omicron variant to provide broader protection against COVID-19. Vaccination against COVID-19, while it may not prevent all milder infections, remains very effective at preventing severe symptoms and hospitalization.
